The 10X journey - how I rediscovered my essential self

Its been a while since my last blog entry. My journey to my essential self just had started back then. It started with a coaching call. I attended a group call and I was brave enough to bring up my issues infront of the group and get a one to one coaching session. I had some profound insights and my world began shifting.  It was a 10X experience how I know now.  3 months later and after starting a wonderful programme with a bit an eccentric name - 10X -  I know the call back then was a stepping stone to the discovery of my essential self. What is the essential self?  It is who I am, who I truly am - my desires, my needs, my dreams and my passions. It is that child inside of me that has no idea yet of what shame and guilt are. That looks at the world with shining eyes full of excitement and joy. That has an open heart full of love and compassion. It is ME - waiting to be seen, acknowledged and cared for - by myself! Keine Zeit für Selbstzweifel

Es hat Klick gemacht und es ist mir egal geworden, was andere denken.  Wirklich?  Ja, aber es geht nicht um die Anderen. Ich hatte ein Gespräch mit einem sehr guten Coach und habe ihm einige meiner wichtigsten persönlichen Fragen gestellt.  Herausgekommen für mich sind dabei mehrere Sachen: Ich bin jetzt überzeugt davon auf dem richtigen und für mich bestimmten Weg zu sein, meine Passion - Vision - Mission nicht weiter zu hinterfragen. Es ist keine Zeit zum Grübeln, vorbei die Zeit der Selbstzweifel, ich spüre, dass ich eine Bestimmung habe und werde alles daran setzen meinen Weg zu gehen. Die Frage nach dem Wieso - wieso etwas für mich wichtig ist, wieso das meine Passion ist, wieso ich diesen Weg eingeschlagen habe - werde ich mir nicht mehr stellen. Ich stehe mir fortan nicht mehr selbst im Weg. Die Energie, die aus der Zeit, die ich in meiner Passion und mit der Arbeit an meiner Vision verbringe, ist meine stärkste Antriebskraft. Life and memories

Looking at my pictures from the last months I see a lot of green, nature, adventures, friends, good times and small messages of peace & love to myself.   A few months ago I met a few colleagues from the UK for dinner. One of them talked about all the things he would be doing if he’d lived where I live. I asked myself why hadn’t I done what he was talking about? Besides a feeling of being stuck and a little alone I didn’t have an excuse. Something in me shifted and I told myself: I need more memorable weekends!  But first with what and why was I stuck? I had started working fully at KCMC since January this year. Finally I had gotten all my licenses and was allowed to operate, attend patients and teach. I chose to start in the Acute Care Unit of General Surgery, the unit with the least amount of specialist (1) but most patients. Now we were two specialists (and approximately 8 to 10 residents) in the unit and would share our duties of ward rounds, outpatient clinic, teaching...
